Who are the smooth carbon steel Toro Petank boules designed for?

The Toro Petank smooth carbon boules are the ultimate competition boules for shooters. They are particularly effective for precision shooting, while still offering reliable performance for pointing, especially when playing high lobs on hard terrains. This makes them suitable for all playing profiles in pétanque: shooters, pointers, and midfield players.

Advantages of this triplette

Toro Petank designs this new-generation competition triplette with the utmost care. The brand has chosen high-quality carbon steel, ensuring a comfortable grip. Thanks to its smooth hand release, this boule enhances throwing precision.

Additionally, the smooth carbon Toro boule is both very soft and perfectly balanced. It offers low rebound and minimal bounce, which makes it ideal for achieving accurate shots and on-the-spot carreaux. At the same time, this triplette provides excellent control over trajectory—an essential quality for demanding pointers.

The Toro smooth carbon boules also stand out with their distinctive French design, proudly displaying the Toro Petank logo. Moreover, you can engrave up to 15 characters on the surface of your boules, making this model fully customizable for competition play.

Our maintenance tips for the Toro smooth carbon boules

The Toro smooth carbon boules require regular maintenance to ensure durability, as carbon steel naturally tends to oxidize. After each pétanque game, carefully dust your triplette with a soft cloth. When possible, wash the boules with soapy water and make sure to dry them thoroughly. Once clean and dry, store your set of three boules in its case, placed in a dry environment.

It is also recommended to apply a thin layer of vaseline or a special maintenance product from time to time. This helps restore their shine and protect them from oxidation. Note that the superficial finish of this model will gradually fade with use, but this does not affect the overall quality or performance of the boule.
