These smooth carbon balls from the Toro Petank brand stand out for their high-quality craftsmanship. This new-generation triple set features a very soft hardness, making it ideal for experienced shooters. However, its versatility also makes it effective for pointers and middle players.
The smooth carbon pétanque ball from Toro Petank represents the typical competition ball for shooters. It delivers excellent shooting sensations, combining very soft hardness with outstanding absorption capacity. This makes it perfect for dead-on shots (carreaux sur place). But its qualities go even further—it also performs exceptionally in pointing.
Thanks to its precise balance, this ball offers an ideal compromise between power, accuracy, and control when throwing.
The smooth carbon texture of this model ensures a comfortable grip, enabling smooth and controlled releases. It helps maximize performance in pétanque and jeu provençal competitions, regardless of your playing style or position on the field.
Note that the Toro Smooth Carbon proudly features the brand’s logo engraved on its surface. However, you may also customize it with your name, initials, or dates using Pétanque Web’s engraving service.

The satin black finish will gradually fade with use—but don’t worry, this is completely normal. In fact, the grip improves once the thin surface varnish wears off.
That said, proper maintenance will extend your ball’s lifespan. After each game, clean your Toro ball. First, remove the dust and wash it with soapy water. Then, dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth. Store it in its case or a protective pétanque bag until next use.
From time to time, apply a thin coat of grease, such as vaseline or a special maintenance product, to restore its shine and protect it from oxidation.
