Pointers, shooters, and middle players can use them effectively for pointing or shooting during pétanque tournaments.

The Toro 119+ from Toro Petank is a semi-soft carbon boule that stands out above all for its versatility. All pétanque players can use it with confidence on the boulodrome. Whether in the hands of a shooter, a pointer, or a middle player, it reveals its full potential.

On one hand, this triplette offers great cushioning and low rebound, which improves accuracy when shooting and increases the chances of making carreaux. On the other, its carefully balanced design ensures better stability and enhanced control of the trajectory, helping you achieve greater precision when pointing.

Beyond its technical qualities, the Toro 119+ also shines with its unique design. It features the brand’s bull logo and tennis-ball-style grooves, making it stand out immediately on the terrain. You can even personalize it with an engraving of up to 15 characters.

It is also important to note that the 119+ boules come with a black shot-peened finish. This superficial layer gradually wears away with use, leading to an improved grip over time.

Care tips

As the Toro 119+ is made of carbon steel, it requires regular maintenance to ensure durability. Otherwise, it may oxidize easily.

After each pétanque game, clean your triplette with a dry cloth. If possible, wash it with soapy water, then dry it thoroughly to prevent rust. Finally, apply a thin layer of vaseline or gun oil about once a month to protect the surface and restore its shine.
