Not only does it allow for a fluid boule release, but its very soft hardness (110 kg/mm²) promotes shooting precision. Demanding shooters will certainly appreciate its performance. On the other hand, the characteristics of this triplette are such that it also suits pointers.

The advantages of this triplette of boules

Designed from a very fine steel alloy, La Boule Bleue Prestige Inox 110 is distinguished by its very soft hardness. Moreover, it is the softest triplette allowed in pétanque competition. It possesses excellent shock absorption capacity and features equally excellent dampening. Thus, the triplette promotes throwing precision, which greatly benefits shooters.

La Boule Bleue Prestige Inox 110 is covered with a varnish layer that fades over time. It offers a pleasant grip. Nevertheless, you may need a short adaptation period to get used to handling it.

Note that this triplette comes in two versions on Bouloddo: a smooth version (strie 0) and a striated version.

Our maintenance tips

La Boule Bleue Prestige Inox 110 is made from stainless steel, a material that does not tend to oxidize. As such, the triplette requires no special maintenance. Cleaning with a cloth after each pétanque game is more than sufficient to keep it in good condition. However, washing with soapy water, followed by meticulous drying and greasing with vaseline, gun oil, or special boule maintenance product on a monthly basis optimizes its durability.

Note that the surface of each stainless steel boule may show hammering marks that do not diminish its quality in any way… nor its performance on the playing field, for that matter!
