The COU Lisse is part of La Boule Noire's iconic triplets. Taken over by Obut, it is designed for players seeking excellent grip in hand. Its carbon steel construction and HARD hardness (> 140 kg/mm²) make it a particularly resistant competition boule. It is therefore ideal for petanque players who prioritize durability and performance on the courts. This triplet has high speed after impact with the ground (or with the opposing boule). It appeals to both shooters and pointers who like a boule that "shoots" quickly.
The Obut La Boule Noire COU Lisse is designed to offer both robustness and versatility. It is therefore perfect for beginning petanque. Its balance compliant with FIPJP requirements ensures optimal stability in trajectories. It thus allows for effective shooting or pointing on different types of petanque courts. This set of boules also benefits from a satin black finish. Although gradually fading over the course of petanque games, this finish improves playing comfort and grip.
Another strong point of the Obut La Boule Noire Cou Lisse triplets: the availability of two distinct models, adapted to the needs of both men and women. Female players can thus choose a more manageable triplet (72 mm – 680 g). On the other hand, male players will prefer a slightly heavier version (74 mm – 690 g).
The Obut La Boule Noire COU Lisse triplet is delivered in sets of three boules, in a cardboard box. Subject to availability, shipping takes place within 24 hours after ordering. Each set of boules comes with its essential accessories for playing petanque in the best conditions: a jack and a chamois cloth provided free.
Like all carbon steel boules, the COU Lisse requires regular maintenance to preserve its performance and prevent oxidation. After each petanque game, it is recommended to clean your boules with soapy water, dry them well, then apply a slightly oiled cloth or suitable maintenance product. In case of small marks due to the terrain, light sanding with sandpaper allows them to regain a smooth surface. Finally, always make sure to store your triplet in a dry place.
