Maintenance tips – Obut CX COU

Since the CX COU is made of carbon steel, it is prone to oxidation and must be maintained regularly:

  • After each game, wipe the surface gently with a chamois cloth
  • Rinse with soapy water, then dry thoroughly
  • Apply a protective spray, Vaseline, or a light lubricating oil

If you don’t use your pétanque boules regularly, repeat this maintenance at least once a month to preserve their condition and avoid rust.
