Who are Obut TON’R carbon steel petanque boules for?

This petanque boule is recommended for all players who prefer soft boules. It’s the ideal triplet for shooters. 

 

Why choose this set of boules?

Upon impact, the Obut TON’R shows standard marking. Its balance is excellent, making it especially effective on difficult terrains.

Like many Obut boules, this model is engraveable. Adding initials or a nickname helps prevent confusion with another player’s set.

The Obut TON’R triplets are FFPJP-approved and therefore legal for competition. They are available in smooth or grooved versions.

How to maintain your competition boule?

Carbon steel is prone to oxidation, so it requires more care than stainless steel boules. To prevent rust, adopt a few simple habits:
After each use, clean your Obut TON’R with a soft cloth to remove dust. Then wash the boule with a damp sponge and Marseille soap.
Once dry, apply a coat of gun oil or Vaseline grease. Spray maintenance products are also suitable.
