The MS 120 is designed for players looking for a reliable, well-balanced competition boule with an excellent price-performance ratio. Its semi-soft carbon steel composition makes it suitable for both casual players and licensed competitors seeking high-level performance. Its unique smooth finish (strie 0) also appeals to purists who prefer a direct contact with the ground. Whether you play as a pointer, shooter, or middle player, this MS Pétanque carbon boule will meet your needs.
The MS 120 stands out thanks to its ideal balance between durability and precision. These characteristics make this carbon petanque boule a top choice for both shooters and pointers. With a semi-soft hardness (120 kg/mm²), it absorbs impact well while maintaining excellent trajectory control. On hard or sandy terrains, it shows limited bounce, which is highly appreciated during direct shooting (tir plein fer) or rolling shots. Its performance is especially consistent and predictable, helping every player better anticipate the boule’s behavior and improve their game.
Made of carbon steel, the MS 120 also offers a natural grip that feels great in the hand—no need for striations. This smooth finish allows for a clean and controlled release, suitable for fluid playing styles. This competition boule is FFPJP-approved, ready to compete in official events held by the International Petanque Federation… while remaining accessible to licensed club players. A solid choice for players aiming for regular progress.
This competition boule is approved for use in tournaments under the authority of the French Petanque Federation.
Your MS 120 triplette will be shipped within 24 hours, subject to stock availability. It comes with a complimentary boxwood jack and cleaning cloth offered by our store Bouloddo.fr.
Like all carbon steel boules, the MS 120 requires regular maintenance to prevent rust. After each petanque game, be sure to wipe down each boule with a soft cloth. For frequent players, perform a full cleaning about once a month. Start by brushing off dust using a cloth. Then, clean the triplette with soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Finally, apply a thin layer of gun oil or petroleum jelly and store your petanque gear in a dry place. This simple routine will help preserve the appearance and performance of your triplette for the long term.
